Dear Meetup Members,

I am excited about the upcoming meetup event! Not only have the lovely folks at Cupping Room Cafe (members of this group) offered to host the event at their restaurant, but we have a guest speaker, Robyn Schultz, giving an informational presentation entitled "Recession-proofing Your Restaurant: A Financial Checkup". Here is a brief synopsis of the information to be covered:

As fuel and foods costs stagger through the roof, and customers become tighter with their wallets, it is imperative that you examine your systems and spending. By carefully reviewing and inspecting your current costs of operations, you may find some areas that need some attention! Now when the industry is taking an overall beating is the time to make some necessary changes to keep more of your hard earned dollars. Some areas that will be addressed:

Robyn has assisted several of the most successful restaurants in the metro area assess their operational costs and prepare for refinancing for expansion, automation, and more. Her expertise and enthusiasm are sure to make for an exciting and informative time!

The presentation will begin at 5:00 PM sharp, with open networking before and after, and brief presentations by other Meetup members on their businesses and services offered for restaurateurs. There is a cash bar at the Cupping Room Cafe, as well as a full menu.
